Containment Engineered in Three Layers

Each Layer Has a Purpose.

Clean contact inside, structural support through the core, and a protective exterior.

Three-layer HDPE wall construction An upright three-dimensional block with a thin off-white inner layer, a thicker gray structural core, and a thin indigo outer layer. Their wall thicknesses are in a 20:60:20 ratio, with subtle recessed numbers 01, 02, and 03 corresponding to the layer descriptions.

Trilayer Liner, Puncture-Proof & Crack-Resistant

Ultra-pure inner layer for wet contact, structural middle layer, and protective outer skin — Liner-only replacement available; no cage change-out required.

Trace Metal Contaminants & Particle Count

UP275 IBCs & UP55 Drums Offer the Lowest in-Class Particle Counts; Under 100 ppt extractable trace metals, per element, verified per lot.

Chemical Recovery at Every Emptied Container

Diptube and sump geometry leaves under 200mL in a 55-gallon Kurko drum at empty and under 0.1% of fill volume in Kurko 275 gallon IBCs.

Fewer Part Numbers to Stock and Qualify

One KoLink™ dispense head and insert, compatible across all 5 containers, take Kurko coding elements to configure the same hardware to any chemical service.

Lower Upfront Cost and Carrying Costs.

Achieved by one standardized containment system: reconfigurable fill-and-dispense hardware across drums & IBCs, pooled inventory, denser freight.

Service Life and Packaging Sustainability

316L stainless steel cage, 10+ year service life. Liner replaced at end of service; the cage returns to the fleet. Galvanized option available.

Semiconductor Applications

The UP275 carries the aqueous side of semiconductor wet processing — the acids, bases, oxidizers, etchants, and slurries that move in bulk from a producer's fill line to a fab's dispense room. Flammable solvents run on the companion SS330 all-stainless platform, so each chemistry rides the body built for it.

  • Wet-Process Supply

Bulk delivery of the aqueous chemistries behind wafer cleaning, etch, and planarization steps.

  • Aqueous UHP Service

The Tri-Layer HDPE wetted path is built for aqueous ultra-high-purity duty; wetted seals are PFA, with no elastomers in the wetted path.

  • Fill Line to Dispense

Ships ready for fill-line qualification at the producer, coded to the assigned chemistry for dispense at the fab.

  • Closures Matched to Chemistry

Sealed, vented, and manual-relief closures are assigned per chemistry — venting only where the service requires it.

Tri-Layer Construction

Three Co-Extruded Layers

  1. Ultra-Pure Interior Wetted Layer

The only surface the chemistry ever touches. Formed from virgin HDPE, it keeps the contact surface clean and consistent from fill through dispense.

  2. Structural Center Core Layer

The core carries the load. The thickest of the three layers, it gives the liner its stiffness, stacking strength, and impact resistance through filling, handling, and transport.

  3. Protective Outer Layer

The exterior takes the environment. UV-stabilized HDPE shields the liner from sunlight and handling wear through staging, transport, and storage — so the layers beneath keep doing their jobs.

System Assembly

Separable by Design

  1. Tri-Layer Liner

The replaceable element. The liner lifts out of the cage as a single unit and provides the wetted surface for each fill — exchanging it renews the entire wetted path.

  2. 316L Stainless Cage

The durable frame. Resistance-welded 316L stainless steel takes the structural load, protecting the liner in transit and returning for the next fill.

  3. Pallet Base

The handling interface. An integrated base for forks and pallet jacks; material selection is in engineering release.

  4. Closures & Keyed Diptube Insert

The serviceable hardware. The 6-inch and 2-inch closures and the KoLink™ Keyed Diptube Insert thread out at the top ports for service and coding.
