HP55 / High-Purity Drum
A 55-gallon Tri-Layer HDPE drum for high-purity wet chemicals that do not require semiconductor-grade release documentation. One seamless, blow-molded body in natural unpigmented HDPE combines a virgin wetted layer, a structural core, and a UV-stabilized exterior.

HP55 drums and HP275 IBCs: the lowest particle counts outside Kurko's UP tier. Under 1 ppb extractable trace metals, per element, verified per lot.
Diptube and sump geometry leaves under 200mL in a 55-gallon Kurko drum at empty and under 0.1% of fill volume in Kurko 275 gallon IBCs.
One KoLink™ dispense head and insert, compatible across all 5 containers, take Kurko coding elements to configure the same hardware to any chemical service.

The HP55 carries aqueous high-purity chemistries for industries that run wet processing one purity step below the semiconductor fab — and for semiconductor chemistries whose specification does not call for the full certificate of analysis. Flammable solvents are outside the HP55's service.

The HP55 and UP55 share the same Tri-Layer wetted path, so compatibility does not change with tier. Service is confirmed per chemistry, concentration, and closure configuration at qualification.

Tri-Layer Construction
The only surface the chemistry touches. Formed from virgin HDPE, it keeps the contact surface clean and consistent from fill through dispense.
The thickest of the three layers carries the load — stiffness, two-high stacking strength, and impact resistance through filling, handling, and transport.
The exterior takes the environment. UV-stabilized HDPE shields the drum from sunlight and handling wear through staging, transport, and storage.
Top-Head Configuration
The 2-inch outlet holds the KoLink™ Keyed Diptube Insert, coded to the drum's assigned chemical service.
The 2-inch inlet handles fill and venting, sealed by a closure assigned per chemistry — sealed, vented, or manual-relief.
The raised rim surrounds the top head — guarding both ports in handling and carrying the load when drums stack two-high.
The serviceable hardware. Both closures and the Keyed Diptube Insert thread out at the top ports for service and coding.
