KOLINKTM UNIVERSAL FLUID INTERFACE

Keyed Dispense Head and Diptube Insert: One Standard Connection for Kurko Drums & IBCs

The KoLink™ interface is a two-part mechanically keyed connection for dispensing wet-process chemicals from Kurko drums and IBCs. Protection is built into the geometry: the Dispense Head and the Diptube Insert each carry a chemistry code, and the head seats only when the codes match — a wrong-chemistry connection stops mechanically, before a fluid path opens. Inserts ship pre-coded for a specific chemical service, or as configurable blanks that are coded at the producer’s fill line. Coding is entirely mechanical; no electronics, power, or reader is required at the point of dispense. The interface is patent-pending, and a standard unkeyed dip tube remains available for uncoded service.
  • Mechanical verification — matching codes connect; a mismatched head cannot seat, and the connection stops before any fluid path opens
  • KoLink™ Dispense Head stays at the dispense line; Keyed Diptubes arrive installed in every container, pre-coded per chemistry (or as a configurable blank)
  • Fits Kurko HP55/UP55 Drums & HP275/UP275 IBCs — one interface qualified across a multi-container fleet, or a standard unkeyed dip tube on request
  • No electronics in the connection — verification lives in the geometry itself, with nothing to power, scan, or maintain at the point of dispense

KOLINKTM SPECIFICATIONS

One interface, two components. The Dispense Head carries the chemistry coding on the supply side; the Keyed Diptube Insert carries the matching code in the container. Inserts are available pre-coded across standard wet-process chemical services, or as configurable blanks coded at the producer — one blank serves any chemistry until it is committed to a code. The engagement is identical across Kurko drums and IBCs — qualify the interface once and carry it across the fleet. Every coded pair enforces the same rule: matching codes connect; mismatches stop at engagement.
Function Mechanical cross-connection prevention at the point of dispense
Model(s) DH: KoLink™ Dispense Head, Key-Coded for Safety at the Chemical Dispense Line — Unkeyed on Request: DT: Chemically-Keyed Diptube Insert, Pre-Coded and Installed in Every Container or as a Configurable-Blank
Coding 8-position mechanical coding — coding elements sit outside the wetted flow path Dispense Head Rivets, set in the coding collar | Diptube Blocker Plugs, set in the insert
Safety Color identifies; geometry enforces — a mismatched pair will not seat, regardless of color
Material(s) High-purity HDPE or fluoropolymer per chemical service; wetted seals PFA
Compatibility Kurko HP55/UP55 drums and HP275/UP275 composite IBCs; standard unkeyed dip tube available
